flower life

Flowers have never been a vulgar pastime, but floral arrangements have found their way into ordinary homes, creating a sense of ritual in life. There is a well known English proverb: “An Englishman’s home is his castle.” In the eyes of most English people, a person’s love of home is as essential as their love of food. This is why the Englishman’s love of floristry is so great, and English wives place even more importance on home life care arrangements. Most floral designers put all their love into flowers, adding an element of flowers to everything they see from the time they wake up at 7am until they go to bed at 23pm. I use this element of floral design which will fit very well with my clients’ aesthetic preferences and lifestyles.

Mark Pampling is a pure florist who combines flowers with other materials to create many successful stylised pieces.

He Borned in a small town in Australia known as The Garden City, Mark’s creativity was extraordinary from an early age and he often immersed himself in a variety of handcrafted, painted, sewn and cooked creations. Mark is known for his unique and skilful architectural techniques, his materials are simple, his lines are crisp and his forms are beautiful. He likes to draw inspiration from architectural structures and plant textures. He usually devotes his full attention to horticultural materials and processes. He believes that only limited resources can be a fantastic source of inspiration.

As a floral teacher and head floral judge, he enjoys the process of teaching and says of his future plans and goals, “I need to continue to learn and grow my knowledge and experience of floral design and share it with others through teaching, exhibitions, demonstrations and judging.

He uses floral art and form to express the elegance of Beijing. The term elegance is expressed in floral art, which should have elegant lines and graceful shapes, while incorporating the traditional architectural design shapes of Beijing in his floral works.

In this work, which is an expression of a beautiful home, Australia’s flora spans the cold zone to the tropics, and Mark’s floral design is a representation of the separate Australian land in block form. The diversity of flora that exists in the vast Australian landscape.

Mark Pampling believes that a symbolic floral piece should be represented by shape and colour. I was inspired to use certain geometric forms and colours to represent the objects I wanted to represent. By extracting certain forms of flowers or plants and combining them with the original lines of the building, I can use them as inspiration for my interior design.
